A SPLIT ON THE WEEKEND AND A COUPLE GREAT PERFORMANCES FROM MARCUS FEAGIN

(Brocton, NY) Another double-header of a weekend for the Chautauqua Hurricane is in the books and this week’s Player of the Week is officially going to Marcus Feagan. A 6’4” Small Forward that has a knack for rebounding. Although the Hurricane lost on Friday in Jamestown, Feagan was still able to put up monster double-double numbers. Feagan’s better performance came on Saturday when he dropped 21 Points and added in 16 Rebounds, 3 Assists. Feagan is always a presence in the paint although he is a small forward. Averaging over 20 Points and 15 Rebounds on the weekend he was a no brainer for Player of the Week. Although the Hurricane battled on Friday and had a great game going for the majority of it, they fell short to the league leader Jamestown Jackals 119-96. Saturday was the highlight of the weekend once again as the DuBois Dream came to town. The Hurricane had the crowd on their feet all game as the score went back and forth with over five lead changes. The biggest highlight of the game came when Larry Rivers laid down a roof-shaking slam in the 3rd Quarter and then Hurricane didn’t look back winning over DuBois 108-93. The Hurricane are now 3-0 vs. DuBois this season. The stats for Saturday’s win are listed below.
