Don’t call it a streak, Hurricane now have won two in a row and are undefeated at home.

(Brocton, NY) The Chautauqua Hurricane has defended home court quite well this season as they’re now 4-0 at Brocton High school. This weekend, one of the toughest opponents in the NABL came to town. The Ohio Bootleggers out of Columbus had the Hurricane prepared for a tough matchup. Right of the start it was clear this would be an offensive battle. At half time both teams had already combined for 146 points with the Hurricane up 77 to 69. The offensive battle continued as the score went back and forth. In the end with seconds to play, Larry Rivers laid down a massive slam to put the Hurricane up 5; this would be enough to give them the win 145-143. This week’s Player of the Week was undeniably Ralph Williams who seems to put up 20 points 10 assists every single game. This week was no different. Williams didn’t start this game but was a spark off the bench creating team energy through his passes sending out a season high 23 Assists. To add with his assists #10 also dropped 22 Points and 4 Rebounds. Marcus Feagin, last weeks Player of the Week once again performed at an insanely high level dropping 37 Points to go with 22 Rebounds. These two provided major high intensity to help the Hurricane prevail.
